Jesus taught the Word of Faith
Taking a close look at what Jesus said about the importance of your words
For truly I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, be removed, and be cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he says shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he says...

Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray (SAY), believe that you receive them, and you shall have them

Mark 11:23,24

To criticize and mock the confession of God's Word is to criticizing the instructions of Jesus Christ, who specifically told us that we could have what we say say in Mark 11:23,24, which is His essential teaching of how to use God's faith.

(NOTE: Please keep in mind that "speaking to the mountain" is speaking to any problem in your life that is bigger than what you can handle on your own, with your own natural abilities...Jesus is not telling us to literally go out and move mountains around the earth.)

Anyone who desires to have intimate fellowship with Jesus, is going to have to come into agreement with what He says about using God's faith!  We've been given the faith of Jesus Christ to use in this life as shown in Galatians 2:20, and Romans 12:3. Jesus expects us to do what He tells us (Luke 6:46), so we need to be obedient.

Do you believe Jesus knows what He's talking about? Of course the answer is an absolute yes…then you cannot ignore what Jesus said in this passage of scripture. In fact, this is exactly how you get born-again by confessing Jesus as Lord (Romans 10:9,10), which says "with the heart man believes unto righteousness (right standing with God); and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation (deliverance from evil)".

This explains how mankind is supposed to be living...believing God's Word with the heart, and confessing with the mouth. Jesus said that "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes out of the mouth of God" (Matthew 4:4). Obviously, Jesus is telling mankind that living under the instruction of God's Word is very, very important! In Matthew 7:24 Jesus went on to say that a wise man is one who hears His sayings and does them

Notice specifically what Jesus said in Mark 11:24:
I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that you receive them, and you shall have them
Did you notice that Jesus said that we could have what we say when we pray?  It should be understood that we should be praying the specific promises of God and not try to take advantage of God's goodness to gratify the flesh (James 4:3)  This doesn't mean that health, wealth, and well being is something that God's people shouldn't expect as a benefit of being a Child of God as the Holy Spirit points out in 3 John 1:2, because we should!

Our primary motivation for believing, speaking, and acting as though God's promises are true should be to please our Heavenly Father and give Him opportunity to manifest His promises in our lives.  Having good things in this life is God's will
